Souâd Taïbi

Souâd Taïbi, holder of a PhD in Management Science, is professor at Audencia Business School in France. Initially trained as a food scientist, she has 20 + years’ experience in the food sector, of which more than half were dedicated to sustainability related projects.  Her PhD thesis was based on action-research and explored the operationalization of the concept of strong sustainability in multi-capital accounting. Her work earned her a finalist place at the Frrench Accounting Association Thesis awards in 2020.

She is now responsible for academic activities (ie. scientific research, academic teaching, supervision of Master and Executive Education) in the field of sustainability accounting and management control. As far as scientific research is concerned, Souâd Taïbi has contributed from 2020 to 2024 to the development of a multi-capital accounting tool called LIFTS, developed by the Audencia Multicapital Global Performance Chair. Over these four years, she has presented several webinars on issues related to sustainability accounting, published three professional reports, contributed to the supervision of  PhD thesis, as well as a book presenting the LIFTS model that was edited by Delphine Gibassier. up to now, she has published one scientific article in Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, and acted as scientific reviewers for this same journal as well as the Journal of Cleaner Production, Accounting Forum and  Business, Strategy and the Environment Journal.
